Ah, New York city: a place of crime, clubs, drugs, and gangs. Four gangs have taken over the city, casting fear over all of its innocent citizens. The Bloods, the Crypts, the Legends, and the Disciples roam the streets of New York. One gang in particular has quite a history. To make a long story short, the Bloods run most of the city, but the other gangs are trying to change that. There are some gang alliances, but individually, the gangs want to reach the top of the heap and send the Bloods into the scrap pile.
The police force in the city try their best to get rid of all the gangs. But it seems like the gangs all together outnumber the police. Police officers, FBI, and many others are killed every day by a member of one of the gangs. So not only do the gangs have to worry about their rivals, but they have to take care of the police that are trying to shut them down. Will the police succeed in driving the gangs out of New York City? Will one of the gangs succeed in taking the throne? Or will the Bloods keep their place on top? All I know is, you better watch your back, 'cause baby it's Survival of the Fittest.
It's Spring! What a relief, eh? It's not as cold as it was during the winter, but it's not extremely hot either. It's just the right warm. Warm enough to go out without a jacket, I'd say.

The Bloods is the oldest and most likely most powerful gang in New York city. Most of its members have been born into the gang, so there are rarely any joiners who just felt like joining a gang. You either had a parent who had been in the gang business, or you didn't join. The name basically says all. This gang is full of coniving, quick witted killers. They never back down from a challenge and are always up for a fight. You go on their turf and you just might get a gun pointed at your head. They'll do anything to stay on the throne.

The Crypts are the most violent of the gangs, next to the Bloods of course. They are incredibly good fighters and usually fight with knives rather than guns. Most of them have learned a little fighting skills, unlike the rest who just fight with no experience in the actual art. The members of this gang are hot tempered, which is exactly why they are the Bloods' number one rival. They love to trash talk. Their mouths are usually what really get them into trouble, no matter who they're up against they've always got the courage to tell someone off with their clever insults.

The Legends are legendary for one thing, being a closenit family. They are more like a family than any other gang. When it comes to fighting, they would rather not do it unless really neccessary. But don't get me wrong, they can kick some ass, but they only do it if it's to protect a fellow gang member or to protect themselves. If it wasn't for that, they really could be one of the top gangs of New York. But they just don't like fighting for the hell of it like some of the other gangs. But if need be, their loyalty lies in the Crypts.

The Disciples are the street fighters. They do whatever is needed to survive. They'll use anything in their surroundings in a fight, a pipe, a trash can lid, you name it, they'll use it. They also take advantage of their surroundings when fighting. THey use the shadows to hid themselves, or they'll use walls for the defensive manuvers. They're all about defense. You'll rarely ever see a Disciple serve the first hit. They'll dodge your swings and not even strike back, just to piss you off. But if the fight doesn't go their way, then they'll pick something up to fight with. They also tend to do some of the Bloods dirty work; spying, selling drugs, or working at the Casino. But keep in mind of their one objective; take the throne for themselves and be the most powerful gang of New York.
