Appearance:
For the time until Baine was 14, he had to live with bleach blond hair and stark blue eyes. He was born with his hair like that, hence his name meaning 'pale, lightness'. He got his nickname 'Angel Face,' from looking like he was twelve years old. Even today, he gets comments like people telling him to leave the bar because he's too young. When he was fifteen, he grew taller, started working out. His hair started getting darker, turning light brown for good. Part of Baine was disappointed, part of him was happy. He opted for dying his hair darker, which he grew to like.
Growing up wrestling and surfing and playing soccer, Baine developed a nice body. The girls love it, so what they hell? He isn't totally buff, but he's got it. He likes lifting weights and running when he's stressed, which helps a lot. The other thing the girls like are the eyes. Huge and bright blue. Sometimes they get gray, but, for the most part, they're blue. his eyes hold something else. They tell Baine's story. He almost always has a concerned or excited look in his eyes. His emotions are usually out in the open.
Personality:
Baine's pretty damn sensitive. It's not like he goes out in public and cries; he just takes comments to heart. He grew up with two older brothers, who were constantly pushing him to grow up too soon. They always teased him, and it effected him in the long run. If someone comments on the way Baine looks, or the way he acts, he'll go home and dissect every part of it. He tries to figure out why he acted that way, what he can do to fix it. He's almost always changing himself because of what other people say. His brothers call him a pussy for it, which just adds to the burden.
Baine will do anything for a friendship. He knows it kills him, but he can't help it. He's always had friends, but somehow, he's always left wanting more. He'll do things that will kill him just to look cool in a certain person's eyes. He sees it as a pro rather than a con. He sees it like he's outgoing; fearless. But some people think he's afraid, stupid. Some people know just how to get to Baine; to make him think something is worth more than it really is. People abuse their power over him, seeing it as an opportunity to get a baby-faced kid to take the blame.
However, Baine has his moments. He's pretty damned smart, so he knows how to deliver a word. He thinks of comebacks like they were 5th grade math, which he can also do pretty damn well. Sometimes his mouth gets him in trouble, but for the most part, it impresses people. It gives them the heads up that behind the face, there is a tough, strong-willed guy. He's quick on his feet. He thinks fast, and makes decisions too. They're usually the right ones, but when they aren't, Baine has a way of going back and seeing what went wrong.
Baine has his way. He changes a lot, which some people will never understand. One minute he can be quiet and soft-spoken, and the next he'll be running his mouth to some top-notch wiseguy without a flinch in his eye. He can be brutally honest; without knowing it. He'll tell people they aren't good at what they do, or anything at that matter, and will think it's normal. People like him for that, too. He pushes the limit without crossing the bounds, and he's good at it too.
Baine can act like a little kid, which he basically looks like. He gets really excited over certain things; a job well done, a compliment, a friend in a high place. If he's asked to do something that he knows he'll enjoy, he gets passionate about it. He'll set his heart to it, and stick through. If he wins or succeeds, he freaks. The kid throws things like parties for himself. He has a bit of an addictive personality, so he might think about that one thing for a while.
Baine happens to be quite the charmer. Yeah, he has the big blue eyes working for him, along with the baby face. But he's also good with words. And twisting those words, as well. Growing up with two players for brothers has its pros, you know. In reality, Baine has no idea how to run a real, strong relationship. He thinks it's all about using what he has to get some ass, and maybe a few-week long thing. He isn't a jerk about it; he won't go showing off what he has. To him, this is how it's supposed to be. He isn't arrogant, and isn't ignorant either. He simply knows the wrong stuff, grew up too fast.

History:
Baine grew up in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He lived with his mother, father, and two older brothers until he moved out at age seventeen. Baine's mother was the cleanest person you'll ever know. The house was always spotless, and he was constantly cooking. Maybe it took away from her anxiety. Maybe it distracted her from her never there family. Baine's father was a lawyer who worked long hours, and often traveled. He made his mark defending wiseguy and mob boss alike, which the family never understood. Lawyers in general were payed pretty well, but Baine's father always gave the excuse of wanting more. More, more, more, was the story of Baine's life. He grew up wanting to know more about the adult world, about how things worked. His brothers showed him the ropes of being a young 'bachelor', they liked to call it. But really, Baine was just a toy. His brothers, along with their friends, used to get him high because they thought it was funny. They'd get Baine drunk, then leave him on his own in the middle of a park on the wrong side of town. He didn't mind much at first; he just wanted to be cool. But as he grew up, he more and more realized the importance of independence.
Baine was raised as a well mannered young man. He didn't start cursing until he was in high school. His family went to school every Sunday. He didn't drink anymore, after certain situations with his brothers. He never tried smoking or any hard core drugs. He stayed away from the bad kids; had after school activities and played sports. He wasn't allowed to date until he was 16, and he respected that. Of course he snuck out a few times with a girl, but it was never too bad. Baine's main high school sports were wrestling and soccer. Growing up in South Carolina, he surfed, just like everyone else. Around here, you were cool if you were a cheerleader, or a sports captain. But Baine wanted something more. Something better. Something like his father's clients had. So when he was seventeen, Baine moved away to quiet city Boston.
Living in Boston wasn't the toughest for Baine. In high school, he made friends with a lot of older kids, some of which lived in Boston now. So he was welcomed to the city, and welcome to stay in their house with them. The one boys father was rich, not that it was a problem for Baine. His father wasn't happy with his decision of leaving, but he supported the strength of his youngest son. They had quite a lot of money, so Baine father gave him one credit card, and one only. He'd have to make the rest himself. Baine insisted on paying for rent for himself, so he did. The friend he was living with was involved in the Boston Irish Mafia, and soon enough, Baine was pulled in too. He never was really 'in' it; he was just like an accomplice.
Baine was content with what he did, until his house was jacked. He returned home one day to see the four bedroom apartment burned down, with Baine's roommates in it. Coincidence he wasn't there; the police tried to pin it on him. When they couldn't Baine decided one more thing: he hated cops. Every time they approached him, attitude was given. Baine was made known as the kid who punked the cops. He did small time work like destroying their cars and threatening them. Somehow, he never got caught. If he was pulled over, a cop would ask him his name. He'd tell them, and if the cop didn't already know Baine, they'd say, "Oh, you're the famous Baine, huh?".
Baine also kept his time by racing. Street racing high jacket cars. It was fun, really. And most of the time, Baine and his friends never got caught. The cars they used were usually too bent over to identify, and they were smart with them. Plus, Baine was good. Sometimes he raced for money, sometimes for another car, and sometimes for girls. It kept him occupied, to say the least. Until the crash. The crash was the scariest moment of Baine's life. It had rained all throught that day, and at eleven at night, it was still going strong. Most people didn't race in the rain, but Baine liked the adrenaline rush. The wind was crazy, and the streets were soaked. Someone from out of town was racing Baine today, and both kids were pretty excited. The other kid, Jared, had been staying with Baine and another friend for the past month or so, so they had gotten pretty close. Baine loved racing his friends. It made him feel like he had a healthy, sidetracked relationship, as unhealthy as that sounds. So the boys took it as something fun to do. Until the wind and rain took control of Jared's car and sent him spinning into an unknown building. Baine stopped his own, ready to catch up with his friend and congratulating him for having the sickest loss ever. But by the time Baine was a few ten feet away, the building burst, with Jared in it. Baine waited to race for a long time after that, always afraid someone near and dear would die.
The years went by; Baine kept living on his own. Although, he usually was never alone. a different girl in the bed every night. Baine didn't think of himself as lonely; just alone. When he was twenty-one, Baine got the worst news he'd ever received. His father was knocked off by one of his clients, to whom he lost the case of. The guy went ballistic. Knocked off Baine's father and his oldest brother with ease. He though Baine's other brother was the youngest. Fortunately, the guy refused to do the youngest and the women. But now, he heard, the guy was after Baine too. He didn't know how to react. He'd never dealt with something so big as to this. It was scary, really. Baine tried his best to stay out of the gang life, but somehow, he just kept coming back. He closed himself to others as well, seeing as though everywhere he went, his loved ones died.
