Ever heard of Emo? Well, Nate basically created the style in his own way. He’s not the depressed, cut his wrist kind of guy, but he’s certainly covered in his fair share of scars. The largest scar is down his side and was from a fight that took such a long time for him to recover from. Scars line his chest back and shoulders, but surprisingly, his arms and lefts and anything above his shoulders happen to be clean from scars. He’d rather keep it that way too because he’s quite vain. Plus, if you look closely, you could notice that most of the scars are long and jagged, meaning they weren’t clean cuts. He didn’t harm himself, no, but it meant that he wasn’t fighting a clean fight.
His style of clothing, well, there’s another conversation that’d work out in quite an interesting way. First off, never insult the style of clothing he chooses. It’s just in your best idea. He’s always seen in jeans, no other type of pants because he’s always cold. They’re usually covered in some sort of grungy paint or even blood. Most have tears and cling to his hips before being just a bit loose around his legs. The most amazing part of it is that his pants fit him perfectly, he could run as fast as he wanted, he could take long steps and his jeans would do next to none restricting. Amazing.
His shirts tend to be either band shirts, plain shirts missing the sleeves or some sort of t-shirt. He’s never seen dressing up and there is no such thing as dressing down for him….well, unless you count being naked as that. Though, don’t get him into that one. His shirts are never anything special, but he’s always wearing some sort of spiky belt, leather belt and any sort of belts. Usually, he’s wearing two or three along with a little jewelry. He’s always wearing a black cross on a gold chain and also a black locket on another gold chain. He’s never found without them and usually the cross is hanging over his clothes so it’s visible. Touch those and a bullet with find its place in your skull.
His hair used to be a dark brown, but once he quit the school system, he obviously wanted to change who he was, so he died his hair platinum blonde, but left the roots and small streaks the dark color to give his own spin. Sometimes, he’ll gel the hair up and away from his eyes, though most of the time, it’s down and covering one of his eyes. Don’t think that he can’t see though, he’s gotten so used to it that he’s perfectly fine when it comes to look through his bangs. He loves his hair too and if you mess with it without his ok, yet another bullet will find its way into your skull.
Back to jewels. He wears rings (of course), and a platinum silver watch that he stole from a shop when he was younger. It still works, he takes it off when he fights and it has only two scratches on it. He’s rather proud of that watch. Though, his shoes aren’t worth more than two sentences. They are old vans sneakers that are a bit too big and unless he plans on fighting that day, they are tied very loosely. They have some things written across them in silver sharpie, but otherwise, he’s due for new shoes.
That’s basically the end of his clothing.
Personality:
Think of that character, Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter. Nate is something along those lines. Though, he could either be considered more extreme or a lot nicer. First off, he loves fighting; he loves violence and the way that blood and guts splatter on the ground when a person had their stomach slashed or a bullet put in their head. He’s very pessimistic, he’s very cynical and he’s rather dark and morbid, though he has his positives. We’ll stick with those positives for now because it’s always easy to start with the good before the bad. Though, usually it just makes you rather hateful at the end. Just like Nate.
He’s trusting. There isn’t much to say about that one because he’s willing to give out his trust to people, but once it’s broken, it’s broken. Though, you need to have done something to earn it. Even if it’s as simple as a single kill against a rival team. This doesn’t mean that he’ll tell you everything, or even tell you most things, but it means he will include you in big things or things that he needs a close person for. He’s open to new ideas, since he’s always leaning more towards guys, he’d accept anything. Say you’re in love with a monkey; he’ll give you a weird look, shrug it off and give you fifty dollars to go buy a wedding collar for it. Then, he’d just say that he didn’t want it crapping in his room.
He’s usually calm and collected in the worst situations, but there are moments when he cannot keep his mouth shut if you start talking about his brother. That’s something to read about in the history though. Though, when he loses it, you’re likely to face a violent and rather angry man. Also, never insult his confidence or ego. He is rather vain, egotistical and just maybe a bit too caught up in the problems of others. He’s never really focused on his problem, maybe that’s why he got himself into such debt and lost contact with all the people that actually cared for him when he was younger.
Now, the negatives. Let’s start with that one about being vain. He loves himself, not his problems, but mostly his appearance and the memories he carries. He adores his image and tries to keep himself healthy. So far, it’s worked. He’s egotistical because he’s rather proud of himself and when he was younger, he was complimented just a bit too much and it gave him an ego. He’s sarcastic and he’d rather insult you than take an insult with pride. It’s almost impossible to know what he means because of how sarcastic he can be, but if he really wants something to get through to you; he puts his hand on your shoulder and meets your eyes directly.
He’s negative about the world around him. He’s seen the worst and the best of it and he’s seen a lot of things. He knows how people ignore others and it can cause him to just lose himself in his thoughts. A very negative for him is that he’s very thoughtful. He can lose himself and he can lose contact with the world around him. When he’s in this kind of mood, he hates a load of things. He’d never commit suicide, but he’d rather not face this side of himself too often. He hates that part and when he’s like this, he’s most likely to be angered.

Family:

Bahh Orlan – dead
father;
Chase Orlan – Probably dead

Brant Orlan – [Alive – Living in Miami still - 15
History:
Storms are said to symbolize something bad. In the case of Nate’s birth, well, by then it was in the middle of a hurricane. Born when the eye of the storm passed over his hometown of Miami, he was the symbol of bad luck embodied in an innocent child. His mother was a surfer, always hating the laws and such, while his father was a lawyer, a man who loved the laws and supported them with his very life. Maybe it was a family that was doomed from the start, but neither of them cared. They were young and in love, they were ignorant of the troubles that lay ahead, but they didn’t care because they were together. Six weeks after Nathanial was born, his parents were in their first argument. Bahh wanted to move away from the dangerous area, Chase did not.
This was the large fight until after Brant was born when Nate was two. His father agreed to a verbal settlement where he would take Brant and Nathaniel every other month and that other month would be spent with Bahh in New York City. Nate obviously loved New York City better and he loved his mother more. His father would only refer to him as Nathanial Lukas. His father completely wiped his last name after Nate’s parents split. He wanted to forget that whole misfortune with that woman. He ended up hating them and during one of the times that Nate was staying with him; he tried to flee the country so he could teach Nate to be more like him. He didn’t care much for his younger son Brant, but Nate managed to call his mother before that happened.
Brant had only been two years old while Nate had been four. Nate had always been smart and after Chase attempted to kidnap his children, she was legally granted custody of her children and Chase was not allowed near them. Nate could care less about parents by this point and he ended up basically taking Brant under his wing and teaching him the ways of life. When Nate was ten and Brant was eight, Nate and Brant were walking home from school when Nate got his first taste of a gang. Thankfully, neither Brant nor Nate got hurt, but they saw everything that could possibly help them go up in the living standards.
His mother had no talents, but she refused to go into prostitution and drugs, so she was a waitress and they lived rather poorly. When he turned eleven, his father was granted temporary custody of him again, not of Brant for some reason, but Nate, for a year, moved up the social ladder and was back in Miami. Soon, Brant followed. While there, he experiences what upper class life was like. He enjoyed it, but sadly, when his father was found to be a drunken, broken man; he was sent back to his mother and poverty without a second glance, though, now he was more interested in getting away from his family. At the age of fourteen, he ran away to New York. His mother had moved to Boston while he had been with his father. Brant had stayed with family down in Florida.
While on his own, Nate got himself into so many gangs. The first one, BB (Blood Bond) he helped to start. Though, once another kid joined this one, he was kicked out of the gang and shot in the shoulder. He moved from that area of New York into another. He was becoming known as a bloody fighter and a kid who would face death. Though, he had his own issues. He was facing depression, he was facing abandoning his family and it was slowly killing him inside. He met the girl he loved, but she was killed three weeks after their ‘marriage’. He had been fifteen and from then on, he wore her black cross and her black heart necklace. He had given her the black heart.
From then on, he decided not to trust. With his fight against depression, with the loss of the one person he had really allowed close, he was shut off from the world. It took him being dragged into a world of blood, sex and drugs in the gang of the Disciples for him to ‘wake up’ again. While with them, he overcame his depression when he was sixteen, when he was seventeen, he announced he wouldn’t be making his rare appearances at school anymore. He basically cut himself from the world that his family could find him…Until he found out that his mother was dead. No, he hadn’t been contacted personally, but she had been involved in one of the gang shoot outs that he had been involved in. He remembers seeing her and doubting it was her.
He’ll always regret never saying goodbye because he was the one who started the fight, though it wasn’t his side that shot the bullet that killed her. He had gone berserk and after she hit the ground dead, he has no memories of what even happened. Slowly, he gained power and reputation until he became the leader of the Disciples. Sure, he still answered to the Blood, but he did their dirty work and he’d rather be involved hands on. Though, his mouth has earned him many more scars in a year, but the principles he’s learned from experience has molded him into being the man that is away from the real society.
He’s the man stuck in the world of blood, sex and drugs. Though, he’d rather not leave this world, he’d much rather face a bullet in his brain than anything else.
The end.
